CPU Test

According to “Digit”, K20 performs better than OnePlus based on a series of tests like Geek Bench single-core, where OnePlus scored 3428 and K20 scored 3432. On Geek Bench multi-core, OnePlus scored 10832 while K20 scored 10908. On PC Mark Work 2.0, OnePlus scored 7809 while K20 scored 9295.

Better results by K20 indicate that it has been optimized well enough to handle CPU-related tasks well but OnePlus is still pretty close to the capacity of K20.

GPU performance

According to the 3DMark Slingshot test, OnePlus scored 7439 while K20 scored 6154. About GFX Bench (Aztec Ruins, high tier), OnePlus got 1644 and K20 got 1504. OnePlus scored higher for two other GFX tests as well. Higher GPU scores indicate that OnePlus is better for gaming than K20 but the difference isn’t huge.

Camera Test

According to “Trakin Tech” Xiaomi K20 picture colours are more towards warmer tones. OnePlus takes pictures in a comparatively cooler tone and slightly closer to reality than Xiaomi K20. The difference although is very minute.

Another difference lies in over-exposure. K20 lacks very minor details due to over-exposure in certain pictures as compared to OnePlus.

Regarding sharpness K20 pro pictures appear slightly sharper than OnePlus in certain cases. Due to the wide-angle sensor in Xiaomi K20, you can take wider angle pictures so that is a great feature.

The 2X zoom in both cases works great but OnePlus gives slightly better details when zoomed. The HDR and non-HDR pictures are very similar but if the slightest of difference is noticed then we can say that OnePlus gives more contrast while Xiaomi pics are slightly brighter.

While taking personal photos or self-portraits with a rear camera Xiaomi overexposes while OnePlus gives a more natural feel and the skin of the person looks more realistic.

Now coming to the video, both phones allow videos at 4K, 60fps but OnePlus videos look more natural. The selfie video is also more detailed in OnePlus and even the background details are clearer. The good thing about K20 though is the wide-angle feature which adds more elements to a video.

The above-mentioned differences except for the self-portrait are very minor and not even noticeable to many.
